I am committed to your privacy. Do not include confidential or private information regarding your health condition. Email, text, and other forms of electronic communication are not an appropriate medium for counseling and your privacy may be compromised by a third party (such as a service provider or hacker). If you initiate an email or text, you are agreeing to a response, and are willing to accept the above-stated risks. The client portal has less risk.

In addition, Ms. Johnson does not check her email frequently enough to be used in an emergency situation. Email will be checked at least two times per day. Do not use email to cancel an appointment the same day.
